RETRACTED: NASA Researchers Disclose the Truth About Time Travel & Dimensional Portals

This article has been retracted after a request by former NASA scientist and Professor at the University of Iowa, Jack D. Scudder. At issue was Mr. Scudder’s concern that a statement of his was taken out of context and misrepresented by Waking Times, as well as other media organizations.

We have retracted all forms of this article and I, Dylan Charles, representing Waking Times, sincerely apologize to Mr. Scudder, and hope to more accurately represent his work here, as well as strive to prevent this type of error in the future.

On November 17th, 2017, I  spoke on the phone with Mr. Scudder, who was exceptionally cordial, and he explained to me how comments of his regarding detailed research into the earth’s magnetic field had been misrepresented to infer a connection to time travel and inter-dimensional portals. No such connection is in fact implied in his research.

In a paper entitled, First Resolved Observations of the Demagnetized Electron-Diffusion Region of an Astrophysical Magnetic-Reconnection Site, published in 2012, Mr. Scudder and team looked at openings in the earth’s magnetic field, which may be considered portals, although it is inaccurate to suggest that this is an indication of secretive knowledge of NASA’s abilities in the fields of time travel and inter-dimensional travel.

We apologize for this irresponsible error and are determined to achieve a higher standard of science reporting in the future.
