Did the Federal Government Just Admit that Fluoride Damages Teeth?

In response to a 4 year-old public proposal and 19,000 accompanying signatures from concerned Americans, the federal government has apparently decided to lower the recommended amount of fluoride added to public drinking water. For the last 50 years or so, our benefactors in Washington have advocated dosing the American public with sodium-fluoride as a public health initiative, ostensibly to reduce dental cavities.
With a recent public announcement, the government changed these dated recommendations and in the process essentially admitted that the science behind public water fluoridation is wrong, or perhaps even non-existent. Yet, instead of recalling or ending public water fluoridation, they merely tweaked the recommended dosage, which is makes absolutely no sense if the argument for fluoridation is supposed scientific in any way.
“Since 1962, the government has been advising water systems to add fluoride to a level of 0.7 parts per million for warmer climates, where people drink more water, to 1.2 parts per million in cooler areas. The new standard is 0.7 everywhere.” [Source]
The reasoning behind the change is just as unscientific as the justification for public fluoridation was in the first place. The government says that too many people in areas with public water fluoridation are contracting dental fluorosis, an unsightly decay of the enamel of the teeth caused directly by exposure to fluoride. The government notes that because of the prevalence of fluoride in so many other consumable products, we might not need so much in our water after all to protect our teeth…. at least in cooler climates, that is.
There was, of course, no mention of what impact the recent anomalies in the national weather are having on our thirst, and therefore by proxy, the amount of toxic fluoride we drink.
The dangers of ingesting fluoride are commonly known and well-documented, yet for some reason, the government has been unable to acknowledging or react to this truth, even though grass roots anti-fluoridation activists have been successful in recent years of removing fluoride from public water supplies in some major metropolitan areas. Concerned scientists, doctors and activists have for years known that fluoride does not actually prevent cavities, but that instead, it actually causes serious health problems including dental fluorosis, possibly cancer, it lowers IQ, and more. In fact, fluoride is classified as a pollutant, and there is no such thing as a disease caused by fluoride deficiency.
Fluoride is toxic at relatively small levels, as can be seen by the warning labels on most mainstream toothpaste brands. A pea sized amount of fluoridated toothpaste is enough to kill a small child, yet the federal government recommends adding it to drinking water. Also found in soaps, salt, mouthwash, and other products, fluoride is recommended by the American Dental Association as an important medicine in good dental health, and dentists have for decades been giving chewable fluoride and fluoride dental washes to children.
Fluoride is considered to be a medicine, yet unlike every other medicine, there is no attempt to ensure that proper dosages apply to the individual patient. If all public water is fluoridated and a child has a thirsty day, they simply consume more fluoride than is safely acceptable.

Fluoridation of public water is medication without consent and is to be considered a crime against humanity. It should be abolished entirely and immediately and those in the public who still feel that they’re teeth are in need of fluoride should get some from the pharmacy if they like.
It is simply not possible that fluoride can be both good for your teeth and bad for your teeth.
