Casa de Paz – Urban Gardening Healing Social Problems
Video – In the Fruitvale area of Oakland, California, residents are opening their doors and their hearts, fostering peace in their neighborhood—one block at a time. Casa de Paz is one of several houses joined by a common backyard/ farm, where friends and neighbors are encouraged to join in sowing peace and sharing the labor of love. Dedicated to selfless service, non-violence, and regeneration of the earth, this community brings light just where it is needed.
